Now is the Perfect Time to Finish Your Interior Design Project
I used to be a summer person. But now that I’m older and especially in Los Angeles, I've become someone who counts down the days until the heat breaks. Summer is fun, but between travel, camp schedules, and constantly shifting plans, there is not much routine to hold onto. And let’s not forget the heat.
Still, there is something freeing about a few unscheduled weeks. But if I am honest, I am always a little relieved when school starts around, and we settle back into a rhythm.
During this season, I start thinking ahead. I pull out my planner, dream about holiday decorating, and finally circle back to all those projects that have been sitting on my list since January. There is something about knowing that only a few months are left in the year that motivates me.
If you have been feeling the same pull, whether your list includes finally furnishing the living room, getting the guest room ready before family visits for the holidays, or laying the groundwork now so your kitchen remodel can begin in January, fall is the perfect season to make it happen. There is time to design thoughtfully and order furniture before Thanksgiving. And if you are dreaming of a kitchen or bathroom renovation, an addition, or a new build, this is exactly when the design process begins, so it can be wrapped up in time for demo to start the moment the new year begins.
Fall has a way of doing that. The air shifts, the light changes, and suddenly you have the energy to tackle things you have been putting off. I would love to help turn that energy into something real in your home.
Here is to cooler days, fresh starts, and finally checking a few things off that list!
